February was a crazy month which is why I was only able to read two books. Here are those two books:
- I first finished The Single Girl’s To-Do List by Lindsey Kelk. It’s about a girl who’s recently single and doesn’t know how to be single but her friends try to show her that being single is the best thing in the world. It was a cute and quick read that I definitely enjoyed. It showed the importance of friendship and how you necessarily don’t always have to be in a relationship to enjoy life. This book was a true testimony to being single and that being alone doesn’t mean you’re lonely. My rating for this book was 4.5/5 stars.
- The second book I finished wasn’t even on my TBR but I was looking at Kelk’s other books on Goodreads and I saw that she’d written a six-book series called I Heart so I decided to give the first book a try which was called I Heart New York. Angela finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her and her best friends have been keeping it a secret, so she hops on a flight and finds herself in New York. With only her passport, bridesmaid dress and expensive Louboutins, she takes New York by storm and, before she knows it, is even dating two hot guys. She also gets to write about it (where are you, Carrie Bradshaw?) But she must decide whether she loves NYC more than she loves home. I loved this book! It was funny, sad, weird, outrageous, and something that seemed unlikely to happen in real life, but hey!, that’s what books are for. Angela is a funny and relatable character, and sometimes I just felt like giving her a tight hug. I absolutely devoured this book and I cannot wait to read the next one. I gave this one 5/5 stars.
Well, that was all I read this month. Pretty disappointing month but I’m hoping I can make up for it in March. I hope February was a good reading month for you!
I agree with it being a crazy month! I was also only able to read two books in February 😦
I Heart New York sounds like such a great read! I think I’ll add that one to my growing list of TBR books 🙂

I’m glad I was able to provide some sort of inspiration for your TBR. If you ever get around to it, do let me know what you thought of it. Maybe we could do a joint book review? Let me know. 🙂

Yeah, that sounds like it’d be a lot of fun! I just don’t know if I’ll be able to get around to it soon – so I’m all for it if you’re willing to wait a few months… Haha 🙂
